Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 — Effective date: April 5, 2026
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your login session and preferences. IronOS uses a minimal set of cookies — only what is necessary to operate the platform securely and understand how it is used.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies (Required)
These cookies are necessary for IronOS to function. They manage your authentication session and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __session | Clerk | Authentication session token | Session |
| __client_uat | Clerk | Client-side auth state | 1 year |
You cannot opt out of essential cookies. Disabling them will prevent you from logging in.
Analytics Cookies (Optional)
We use PostHog to understand how coaches use the platform so we can improve it. Analytics data is anonymized and never shared with advertisers.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ph_* | PostHog | Feature usage and page view analytics | 1 year |
You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time from your Dashboard > Settings > Privacy page.
Security Cookies (Public Forms Only)
On public-facing forms (such as coach lead capture pages), Cloudflare Turnstile sets a temporary cookie to verify that the visitor is a real person and not a bot.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Bot protection on public forms | 30 minutes |
This cookie is only set when submitting a public form. It is not used for tracking.
3. No Advertising Cookies
IronOS does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party ad tracking. We will never sell cookie data or share browsing behavior with advertisers. This is a permanent commitment, not a current preference.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can manage cookies in two ways:
- PostHog opt-out: Go to Dashboard > Settings > Privacy and toggle off analytics tracking. This stops all PostHog data collection for your account immediately.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using IronOS.
For more information about cookies and how to manage them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
5. Trademark Notice
IronOS (ironos.dev) is a coaching software platform operated by Mustafa Hadi. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or related to the IronOS open source firmware project (github.com/Ralim/IronOS), which is a separate product for soldering equipment.
